Youth

Caravan Middle School Ministry (6th-8th Grades)

Our Caravan weekly youth group meets at the church on Mondays from 6:00-7:30pm. Middle school is a really big transitional time, and we hope to provide a safe place for fun games, relationship building, and thinking about our faith together!

Weekly Youth Group

During the school year, September through June, our high schoolers meet on Sunday nights and middle schoolers on Mondays. We hangout, play games, and have Jesus time in our small groups! We'd love to see you join our community!!

See more info below, and send a request to Mitchel Pierce at mitchelp@hamblenpres.org to be added to the email list!

Oasis High School Ministry (9th-12th Grades)

Our Oasis weekly youth group meets at the church on Sundays from 6:00-8:00pm.  We spend time together hanging out in relationship, playing games, and engaging in discussion about how faith and daily life are intertwined.

Summer Save-the-Dates!

See below for some of our events in the last half of 2024! All events are at regular Oasis and Caravan times unless otherwise noted.

  • June 23-26: Vacation Bible School - Come serve our PreK-5th graders by leading this event with us!

  • July 7-12: Oasis Local Mission Week - Our HS overnight, week-long service opportunity! This year we're staying local, partnering with local organizations and sleeping at the church
  • Recommended Camp Spalding weeks:
    • July 27-August 2: Senior High 2
    • August 3-9: Junior High 2
    • We recommend these weeks so HPPC students can all room together, but do what works best for your family. Registration through Spalding opens in March.

Fall Camp

Each year we partner with the other Presbyterian youth groups for Fall Camp at Camp Spalding! It involves lots of playing together, experiencing beautiful creation, and diving into faith together. Keep an eye out for next year's camps!

Mission Week

Each summer we strive to provide opportunities for our high school students to engage in partnership, learning, and putting our faith into practice together! In a changing landscape of mission, we're learning that typical ways of mission and service aren't always helpful. Instead, we intentionally lean into relationship and partnership with our friends across the world! We've done mission here locally in Spokane, with our partners in the Navajo Nation in Ganado, Arizona, and with our partner school La Libertad in Cobán, Guatemala.

2025's Mission Week will be local in Spokane from July 7-12! We'll stay at the church and work with a wide variety of local organizations and ministries as we explore what mission and service looks like right in our backyard. Contact Mitchel Pierce at mitchelp@hamblenpres.org for more info.
