Serve at HPPC
There are MANY opportunities to serve within the church. If you would like to find a place to serve, please contact Heather Notske at email@example.com. To sign up for ongoing service opportunities, view our Sign-Up Central page.
Fourth through sixth graders are invited to participate in our acolyte ministry. Acolytes contribute to worship at HPPC by lighting the candles on the chancel, assisting with offering, and helping clean up the sanctuary after services. Training sessions, which happen at least once a year for students new to the ministry, explain the meaning behind the candle lighting and give students a chance to practice these roles. Students who have completed a training session are able to volunteer as an acolyte for any Sunday worship service. For more information, contact Kathy Williams at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Coffee Fellowship Host
If you would enjoy helping to provide our church family with a welcomed cup of joe after services on Sunday mornings, we'd love for you to host Coffee Fellowship! For more information, contact Kyla Fague at email@example.com.
View our children's page for more information about Sunday School, Journey (Wednesday evening children's group), and Vacation Bible School. Contact Joe Bruce, Director of Children's Ministries, at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions about how you can help in these ministries.
Lay Assistants help lead worship by reading the first Scripture lesson and giving the prayer after the offering. More detailed instructions and suggestions for prayers can be found in the Lay Assistant Guide. To sign up for a specific date to be a lay assistant, please contact Kyla Fague at email@example.com.
Outside Door Greeters
Outside Door Greeters welcome worshipers at the outside entrances to the church building. This is an important role in helping all to feel welcome to HPPC! For more information, please contact Kyla Fague at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ushers/Greeters welcome worshipers at the entrance to the sanctuary. This is a great way to meet new friends.
